I'm also looking for headphones atm, and I'm now for either akg k271 or beyerdynamics dt 990 pro...

anyone who heard both and got any opinions about them?           https://soundcloud.com/hazak

AKG K271 are very good

i have been using Sennheiser HD 280 Pro (closed back) for djing and for sound reference while making music...
and i must say they are awesome.....

i get as clean sound as my monitors.
check them here ---> http://www.sennheiser.com/sennheiser/icm_eng.nsf/root/04974            Truth will always guard our souls......

How ergonomic are those HD25 ? I heard that they sit on the ears?
Anyone tried the Roland RH-300 ?

I have the AKG K240df but I dont like the bass response that much.
Anyone compared the AKG K240DF with the AKG271 ?

they are quite good, they fit nicely (and if you open it, even better, but looks more like a tiara or something =p ) but i been feeling my ears after using it for long periods continuously, maybe soon ill get them more glued to my head.... =p           un-fucking-believable

OK guys,
is simply ordered all

- AKG 271k

- Sennheiser HD25II

- Roland RH-300

I received 'em today.

My favourites are the Roland and the Sennheiser.
The bass sounds in "my ears" more umm creamy

The HD25II feels more like in-Ear Headphones where the Roland is more open. But the HD25II's Bass is a lil' bit thicker but less.

So I test on

I was at a games convention a few weeks ago, and I saw a Sennheiser stand (drools). I explained my need for clear sound for music production, and here's what he said:
"If you're in a particularly noisy environment, or need to do DJing/mixing, the closed HD25-II would be best suited for you. However, if you're in a quiet studio, or at home, producing music, then the new HD280 are the headphones you need. They're specially designed to give the best "flat" sound possible."

8-25000Hz FREQUENCY RESPONSE! Wee!

Here's a link to them at their site:
http://www.sennheiser.com/sennheiser/icm_eng.nsf/root/05327

If it doesn't work, go to http://www.sennheiser.com (choose your language at the bottom left), go to the top menu, choose Headphones/Headsets ==> Monitoring Headphones.

Transducer principle: Dynamic, Closed

Ear coupling: circumaural
Contact pressure: 6 N
Weight w/o cable: 220 g
Jack plug: 3,5 / 6,3 mm stereo
Connection cable: Coiled cable (min1m/max 3m)
Frequency response (headphones): 8.....25000 Hz
