here we go - still only in cans, so mix balance feedback is extremely welcome - I have real trouble balancing and connecting the upper freqs to the lower freqs in my ear level wise, so very welcome to offer comment on that, or anything else that you think obviously still work in progress, and the end obviously needs major work yet!
Cheers!
just looking for some feedback before I really crack out the whip on it and buff it up, to make sure I'm not going waaaaaay off course..

I like the intro - simple but effective. Really good atmosphere - the leads are sharp and acidy, and they're complemented nicely with some brighter, uplifting sounds. Also great use of the stereo-spectrum.
Bassline seems fine, but to me the kick has a somewhat annoying click to it. It also seems to me like the big, boomy reverbed sounds take up a bit too much space in the mix. Especially in the low end.

I agree with the kick comments. Don't like it much. Also the bass is more fullonish than proggy. Not that it matters, it's just taste. It fits the track.
The track becomes chaotic quite quickly. Maybe build that up a little slower.
After the first filterted down beats you expect the track to come back to full power with a melody or something. But it stays steady for a while and than goes into a break again. I'd keep going after 3.40 and build up. Than after that you could build the break. That way it is easier to keep the energy going.
And don't make the breaks too long or people will start to think about getting beers instead of dancing their ass off
Keep it coming!

Interesting points supergroover - cheers.
I would agree that there are issues of ebb and flow in the structure, which are definite areas that I am working on at the mo.
I don't agree about the second section - its got three melodies in it! I do agree that it feels a bit 'bolted in' and disparate form the rest of the tune, and that obviously needs work.
Agree fully on the breaks - needs stuff that people can still dance at even if it is isn't kick and bass driven at that point, or for sure, people's attention will wonder.
Cheers for your time dude, enjoyed having a think about your post
Update, BTW if anyone is interested - still work in progress, but starting to sound more like a finished tune, lot of risers, perc fills and general titivation required at this point.
