After the cruel events surrounding the Tribe of Frog party and the rumours of heavy police monitoring surrounding the solstice we were rather worried this party wouldn't happen!! But it did and what a fantastic party it was!!! Brilliant way to carry on the solstice celebrations!!!

There was some grumbling about the tenner entrance/donation fee, mainly because it was not mentioned on the flyer, but this was also going towards covering the cost of last years party - which was one of the most beautiful parties I've ever been experienced - so I hope all the costs managed to be covered.

This was a beautiful location, lovely friendly people and an excellent vibe!!! The main system was spot on apart from a few genny problems in the morning which interupted the stomping for a while!! But it really kicked off when this was fixed. Unfortunately being me I am rather lapse in knowing who is playing when, but whoever it was playing as the sun came up and in the late morning I take my hat off to you!!!

Unfortunately unwanted police helicopter surveillance late on Sunday morning ment the main system shut down, but the party moved to the ID Spiral chillout tent and this swithched to psy-trance with a great set from Tristan, and some delicious chillout all Sunday.

All in all a fantastical party and a big thanks to Wingmakers. John pity you missed it we haven't been stomping together for tooooo long!!! Tsk!!!

Hehe glad you enjoyed yourself miss jemma! Did someone tell me that simon posford played some kind of impromptu set?

Hmmm everything seems eerily quiet at the moment, but I am sure we can cause plenty more mayhem before the summer is out!

Yep rumour has it that Simon Posford did turn up and I think he played...perhaps that was the amazing chillout stuff I was listening to on Sunday?!! I really need to start taking more notice of who is on when and what is going on instead of being involved in lots of mischief and ending up confused and confuddled!!! Tsk!!

But the ID Spiral tent on Sunday afternoon was fantastic...and I really enjoyed the huge jamming session with all the drums.....lovely natural acoustic music....I love summer!!!! Hurray for outdoor parties - yippppeeeee!!!!

Top party..!

Me and Simon showed up early Sunday morning and spent the day mooching round eating stuff and swilling gallons of Chai in the Id Spiral chillout. Simon didn't play, but Luna Lis played a selection of new [previously unheard] Shpongle tunes and a couple of my new ones in the late morning.

I was due to be playing a live set but just as i was loading my gear out of the car the Old Bill shut the sound system down. I offered to sing a selection of Elvis Presley numbers and perform a tap-dance routine, but strangely there were no takers. Can't think why...

Ahhhhh - marvelous!! my confusion over who was playing has been cleared......the police did get rather arsey on Sunday but was not sure why as it was private land and miles from anywhere so the noise really couldn't have been bothering to many people?!!! Pity.

Elvis would have been an amusing addition to the afternoon!!! Tho not to sure about the tap dancing - did you see those divots in the floor?! I kept dissappearing down them!!!!

Ahh - yu see I was wearing snow-shoes - the potholes didn't affect me.

They made me dance like a bit of a cabbage but hey - who can tell when Tristan is playing?

Incidentally - did anybody else catch Mr Nudie-Man standing in the middle of the dancefloor shouting incoherently and playing with his willy? I bet you never see THAT at Ministry of Sound.

Vive la difference.
