and rightly so. never trust a NEW product from Microsoft. it takes them 2 years to fix all the bugs.

Guys - the XP is the more stable OS that you ever seen...
i am working with the XP for 6 month (ive got the trail version) and i can tell you that the system never failed out due a bug. in case of exception, the OS self send error report to the MS DB instead of crashing the entire system.
about sound / video - you S H O U L D try this... i cant describe the feeling. the system suports and contains features which you never think about them.

what do you mean ?
we're talking about objective data..
fill this form please:
i have a cpu: <name>
memory: <size/speed>
HD:<type/size/speed>
audio interface: <name>
i run these apps: <list them here>,
the heaviest load i gave was:
<what u ran together>,
the uptime is:
<uptime here>
etc.
can you give us all these ?
because if u run minesweeper, and see movies with your DVD ... it doesn't impress me, i can do this with other OSs

WINDOWS XP - great performance with all aoudio softs and utils great os...i'm working with it for 4 month now never had a faliure yet :) |
