win 7 is great, only thing that bugs me right now is that Pro Tools is not yet compatible with win 7. For everything else, very nice!           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

Cubase 5.1.1 64bit is working very well in Windows 7 64bit.

A few problems being issues with the VST Bridge, namely that it doesnt work very well so I had to buy JBridge which seems to do the job although i do still have some problems with Audio Damage plug ins crashing, not sure if this is Cubase or AD, still researching.

All in all i am having a very nice experience with Cubase 5.1.1 64bit and Windows 7 64bit.

vsts seem to be giving a bit of trouble with 7. i got a cpu usage of 200 % once with just one vst on a channel in live. a reinstallation rectified it. but i've never had such a problem with xp. could be a vst problem too....           "Do not try and bend the spoon. Plug-ins that dont work on Windows 7 have nothing to do with Cubase or any other DAW for that matter, its down to the development of said plug-ins not being tested and or completed for Windows 7 yet, this is a very familiar story with many plug-ins at the moment, it will get better as time passes but time aint passing quick enough

I dont know i tell u what i read here in the forum that ppls are realy enjoy the Win 7 for creation , I also read here that Upavas write its great but i think theres many differences (Your computer , The program u use for - Dont know about the protools) But i can tell you that because of this Win 7 i didt produce for all the weekend (Few weeks ago) , Was a realy nightmare , No Nuendo 3/4 , No Cubase 3/4 work , Was realy hard , Program not open . I backt now to Xp so i can breathe again and my heart back to the normal beat .

Soundmagus .. You go far

The problem not with the Vsts . I tryd work with Nuendo 2 and all work fine , The prob start with the Nuendo 3 and 4 and also with Cubase 3 and 4 , The screan is freezing then the only way to go out and back to normal is to restart computer .

Must say (To Elad question) I got the last edition of win 7 - This win 7 also can be a window ("PlugIn") In the Xp (Mean u got icon to get in) And u can work with both at the same time (Net on the Xp and produce on Win 7 or inverse - Thats better) when both work (For who that have an 1 computer) .

Vsts is not the problam , What strange is how Nuendo 2 "Eat" that new Win 7
(With many open vsts) when others not , That is a big enigma .

You can use 32 bit appz with 64 bit OS, but without the advantages that 64bit gives, only thing is that drivers NEEDS to be written for 64 bit OS           Demand recognition for the Armenian genocide 1915

sp0ok VS davinski ..

True , But unstable Vsts are always make troubles . I give u example .. Today you can find lots of craps vsts in the net . We got imitation to the imitation so how all can work right ? You can find the KORG in the net with 3 piano options without the Wavestation (when the orginal is 4 : MS-20 , Polysix , Wavestation , LegacyCell) , D'cota Vst without sound in (You get the vst on mute) . Win 7 cant understand that "She" want the all orginal full pack . And "she's" right . This Win 7 are realy delicate .

Ppls always look for 1 step more , Sure , But the prob in here that maybe we are in the next but microsoft didt straight the line to us . We should wait ..

XP is excellent .. No need more for produce Win 7 good for net thats all (The beauti lady) And u tell me cubase is better then nuendo only because of his different clolors , Dont belive that , Nuendo is much better , This is an only an adage but this is what we have in here this is Win 7 'The beautiful young lady' we want so much , But whats happen in .. Some1 know ?
