Anyone here has sp3 installed??? i need to install office on my pc and coems with service pack 3, but i dont want to crew my system..so id like to know someone has noticed problem with it??? thanks |

I think you mean your Office is SP3, not the windows os. Office sp3 is just fine.
Windows sp3 is not officially released yet.

I am running my XP with the beta version. I haven't had any problems so far, but I really can't see any performance boost either.

I didn't expect microsoft to go for an sp3. its quite unexpected after the release of vista.
this move certainly doesn't promote vista. |

Vista's terrible reception has changed a lot of things. They have extended the support date for XP by at least a year since so many people have refused to switch. I'm not sure if there even was going to be a SP3 originally.
Vista should be abandoned like WinME and they should just include some new pretty skins with SP3. I can't believe they're still pushing forward with Vista, it should be scrapped.

RC1= release candidate 1 with diffrent builds is possible to try. I´ve never been a fan of beta-testing especially when its sucha fundamental thing as an OS

As I suggested, this is not an official final release of windows SP3 - why would it come with Office in the first place? Office 2003 has a SP3 though... This can explain the confusion. But I'd like the thread author to clarify on this.

Hey thank for ur replies., it onlu says "Microsoft Office 2003 with the new SP3 " i think its office sp3 not windows xp sp3. |
