So who already took the plunge and installed Windows 7?
Gotta say it looks great and works surprisingly well, after all the initial hassles.

Been running 64bit, build 7264 for 1½ month now. Everything works perfectly. Never had a crash and the performance is awsome. Especially with 64bit appz like photoshop CS4
Can't wait till FL supports 64bit

since I am MSDN member i hv already installed Windows 7 Ultimate version 6.1 bulid 7600 final retail version....officially its releasing on 22nd october...i can say that its faster than XP n much more features n eye candy than Vista...its gonna be a big blow for MAC OS...a clean installation hardly takes 15 minutes with 3 GB RAM....first time Microsoft has come up with a flawless OS...here are some Windows 7 reviews for the RC release, whereas the final retail version is much better:

Question here, is it true that everything that runs on XP Pro 32 bit also runs on Win 7?
Please help...

I have experienced like 3 appz that didn't run, but those were freeware appz. Rest runs fine. Some need to run in compatibility mode, but no problem at all
