hello up there i just dont' understand this i am using dual core e7400 2.80ghz 3mb cache but just get a windows 7 prefessional osx edition x86 ..... does that mean?? x86 .... i search for help in google and yahoo but does not work to me well..

x86 is the 32 bit version

the difference is the ram memory handling with 64bit versions you can use more than 4g of ram.
also you can use the 64bit versions of the apps you use.

sound wise there is no difference whatsoever

x86 = 32bit
x64 = 64bit
x32 doesn't exist

32 bit apps work best on 32 bit OS
64 bit apps work best on 64 bit OS

64 bit apps will not work on a 32 bit OS
32 bit apps will work on a 64 bit OS, but it may (or may not) cause problems.

64 bit VST plugins will only work on 64 bit apps.
32 bit VST plugins will work on 64 bit apps, but again, it may (or may not) cause problems.

Like orange said, sound quality is the same.

My personal opinion? If you can go 100% 64 bit, do it. It's worth it.

thanks now i'm working with 4gb and my mother board has a 4 slots for memory ram. and now has 2gb at 800 mhz by two , and has two slots free!!

sorry but x86 stands for the processor platform in general(386,486 pentium 3 and 4 and all other related intel cpu´s basically) and has nothing to do with 32 or 64 bits as such.
these days most x86 compatible operating systems can run in both 64 and 32 bit kernel modes, the main difference being a vastly bigger memory space using 64bit addressing.
If this concept causes confusion even with access to google, then i think it´s better not to worry too much about it, and run in the default 32 bit mode
