no honestly, last time i i used winamp visualizer it was not that great all imo..
has just nothing on your own right?
you can play any video clips with Ableton live...synced to the songs etc..

hm..in cubase u actualy can import video...but its quite limited for that purpose...in live you actualy can just trigger video clips along with you audio clips..just drag& drop them in session view..
dont know wich format live prefers but its a powerful tool if done right...

hmmmmm. Is there a way of capturing winamp visualizations as .avi or .mpeg?
If I could do that I could just play my songs, and get the .avi's or .mpeg's then import them into cubase and sync them up.

just use a standalone visualizer... whitecap and g-force are nice ones. |

1) Install Jasper's Line plugin (see link below)
2) Select "Line" in Windows Volume Control > Recording,
and set the recording level to taste.
3) Select DiskWriter Output in Winamp (see alternative Output options below)
4) Type line:// in Open URL box.
5) Start playing line input source
6) Winamp > Play
