I have currently the following dual monitor setup:
1) 1280*1024
2) 1920*1200
When i plug the smaller screen off, everything is ok, the big screen works in 1920*1200*32bit.
But when i plug it in, the smaller screen works in 32 bit, while the bigger screen can handle only 16 bit, but i want both to work in 32 bit.
Do I need a new videacard? Any other ideas?

16/32bit doesn't really matter if you only use your computer for music creation. Or are you also editing video?

It does matter (was a surprise for me too). Interface of some VST plugins (e.g. Altiverb) look wrong in 16bit. Also, big icons look ugly and unsmooth in 16bit.
