All you need to do in order to take part is fill out our online survey. The course can be taken at any SAE institute in the world where the EMP course is being offered!

from the add:

'Having completed an SAE education I can say the cost of the EMP course is totally justified'

not at all my experience. learned a lot more relevant stuff here.

Depending on your current abilities, the course is worth it for lots of reasons. For beginners and intermediates its a great chance to meet other producers, share ideas, polish up all your knowledge and fill in the gaps.
I wouldn't knock it by saying you learn more on a forum, there is a world outside the studio and actually chatting with real people can't be beaten.

I'm actually on the course now, and although I've been learning by myself for a few years and the course has only filled cracks in my knowledge rather than completely blow me away with new stuff, its been great to share ideas, collaborate and try out some gear in real expensive studios. I'm learning a lot thats not on the course just by being enthusiatic and saying hello to everyone I meet.

Everything is what you make of it.

hello tomos,

i am happy for you that you like your emp.

not knocking down anything, just sharing from my experience.

i hope you allow me my opinion as i allow you yours without coming with cheap statements like your last one. ('life's what you make it')

obviously sae emp is not the same course in every country sae is (for example: i never touched any gear in the studios in amsterdam, nor did my fellow students).

just balancing out the sae marketing.

peace.

Of course I allow you your opinion..?

I don't think my statement was cheap. Doesn't making the most of something apply to everything. That's my attitude anyway.

A lot of people on my course are enjoying it, but perhaps not getting the most out of it. The EMP is only 6 months and I'm trying to suck as much information out of everyone in the time I'm there.

If you have learned more on a forum then we are having a different experience, balance out the marketing by all means. All opinions are valid.
