thanks though I give all credit for original bassline inspiration to Willy, I just spiced up and cleaned up the patch a bit and changed the kick If you want to make an apple pie from scratch...you must first invent the universe

very cool bass line indeed original idea cool
it seems like u used a lfo on a lot of your leads???? also did you use a few arpeggios for leads as well??... Is the synth line at 4:30 a arp??
hehehe hope to here from you

What I refer to as the 'main lead' of the track comes in at 2:51 and returns at 4:54 is an arpeggio with a Simple Delay from ableton on it with 2/5 timing if I remember correctly.
I'm not sure which synth line you are referring to at 4:30, but yes most of the leads are arps that have been delay'd or mangled in some way.
yeah LFO modulation is used on most of the leads in some way
The only lead that I did the actual sound design for is the one in the break at 3:34 that goes the length of the break and then echoes away at 4:27 and I'll give you an explanation of exactly what that lead is, as I still have the synth patch and everything available.
Here's a screenshot of the patch and the racks in ableton
You can't see everything about the patch here, but the basic idea is that Omni is using a TB-303 Sawtooth wave as an oscillator and it's going through the LPF Power Juice 48db filter. There is some Random modulation (Omni parameter - new value every time there's a new Note On) on the Timbre of the Oscillator through Omni's MAIN section, a bit of Waveshaping through omni's WS section, and also a heap of widening through the MULTI sectino which generates more voices of the oscillator an octave below and also spreads those voices out making it much fatter.
I have LFO1 in Omni modulating the Cutoff of the Filter, LFO2 modulating the Resonance of the Filter, and then I use a Max4Live LFO (first deice after Omni in the rack below) to modulate the Key Tracking of Omni as Omni will not allow you to modulate the Key Tracking directly for some reason.
I am using the Omni Arpeggiator for this sound and I'm just giving it one long MIDI note to play with. It's a 6 step loop in the Arp in 1/16th that looks like XoXoXY if X = a note, o = no note and XY = a hold. So basically a note, then a space, then a note, then a space, then a note that's two notes long.
In the ableton rack I EQ the sound, Compress the sound, then add Reverb and a Delay.
