This isn't the first Wii hack I've seen to mess with beats, but it's pretty interesting.
Some Wiimote stuff has been VERY impressive and I wonder how much could actually be incorporated into a live set. It'd certainly look cool shaking that thing around or doing the drums. I can't find it now but someone has written a drum kit plugin and you really can play the drums with one Wiimote and it looks so cool.. plus you can quantise it if necessary so you don't mess up too much on stage!
