You might not have snap on when you selected the bar's beginning and end locators.
Zoom in all the way and check the midi part is exactly a bar (at both ends) then select the part and press 'P' to get the locators around it.
Re-bounce. Should fit. If it doesn't.. you're not doing one of these things right or the BPM is different.
Theres nothing else to check. |

Well it may be responsible for a wealth of other problems that I'm currently blissfully unaware of.. but this particular one it seems is a problem inherent in cubase itself:

Wait, you mean you've been using 2.0 this whole time?
Yeah... don't do that.
Aside from the issues you've been seeing, in 2.0 supposedly the Generic Remote mapping doesn't work at all. Upgrading to 4 isn't really necessary unless you want all the new synths, but you really should be using 3.1 at the very least. 2.2... works... but you won't be able to collaborate with anyone using SX3, which is what most people are using.
