i think u said "useless" in ur first post, but if u say "usefull" it changes the meaning of ur sentence.
anyway tenx for the posts, im making a good list of good reasons, why people should keep going to trance partys

Well if there is good music, I also go for the simple pleassure of aesthetic apreciation.
Its like when you go to the arts museum, to look, listen and feel what some artist wanna share, coment and dance with others ( I dont know why dancing alone isnt as fun as dancing with a bunch of people).

i think good parties make also the job of being some kind of initiation ritual, this i saw here in mexico cause the most of the ppl in parties are younger... and by looking to photos of festivals in europe is different, or maybe is just that in europe goes a more wide range of ages to the parties... i don't know.. it's just what came to my mind

I go to a party to enjoy the music being played , if i dont like it i dont go there even if the best people in the world go there . All this shamanic stuff and all i never saw happened, to me its just old hippy folklore , these people just wanna do the same thing again n again in parties , nowdays it looks retarded . If u go to party understand why you are there , if u dont then dont go =)

a couple years ago i was at Goa Gil's birthday celeberation near San Francisco. i saw these guys who had tied a man to the tree with ropes and shit ..apparently the guys thought he had channelized jesus..freaky stuff.

Yes?
Then go and help make them better--help set up, bring food, go sober and look out for people's safety. Get an EMT license. Get a security license. Do something to enable the positive experience of others. |

What you are saying is completely true i suggest you try and be enlightened naturally without Psychedelic drugs, i think that would be your next mission, start eating good and taking care of your body, and start on meditation...If you are already doing so then you are on the right track...I love dancing i love going to parties i love meeting people i love to be part of this tribe! This is why i keep on making music and i keep on organising parties and i keep on putting more and more love in into this psychedelic story! This is the present enjoy it!
