well nir wanted a new thread. ;)
anyhow - here's a point of view I have at this twisted moment regarding this issue:
If trance was a scene without drugs it could solve everything.
1. no %#$^$#^ police!
2. no heavy arsim trying to find music to explode their over drugged sweaty brain to.
3. no false/true stereotypes about trance. ppl would accept it *only* as music.
4. no scary ppl in parties and other stereotypes = more girls for sure! and only quality ppl that look for it as the love for this music.
5. more freedom, much more parties, more vibe!
6. less expenses. ;)
still... who are we kidding?? trance IS the birth of drugs.
can there be a vibe without drugs? [b]is it possible??][/b]
I'm not against drugs or something. all my friends are more or lesss heavy/easy satlanim. :)
but as one who experienced so many wild parties that left you hungry and asking for MORE... music that kept you moving till you can't move anymore yet you continue until the last kick.. so many brain butchering electrifiing experiences when you feel like the sound enter your body rips your vains apart and then explodes with massive bassline leaving you behind.. so many hypnotised moments listening to it and feeling your skin shiver from a few specific sounds.. all of it without a single chemical......
I just know it's possible.

It is possible to enjoy a party without drugs and dance like a maniac for 12 hours- my friens can testify! The way I do it is called trance- a state of conciousness in which you can overcome pain, fatigue, lack of sleep and almost everything else!!! |

exactly. it takes about 2-3 hours to get into it.. but once you're in it - it's maddnesss..:)

Well I realy think it's great that you guys can enjoy trance like that.
I don't do drugs (chemicals) any more but when I'm in a party The only way I can realy have fun is after a couple of drinks & some puffs.
And then I don't dance I lay back and listen to the music. |

same here but i dont drink... just puff away.
Shahar - u r the world's 8th wonder and a real rarity. our generation, the old geezers who had to switch to trance from other musical styles, usually got connected through some drug enduced experience (in a party or wherever).
mabey the new generation, the kids who take Trance music for granted cuz its been there for them from the first moment will free the trance scene from the drug stereotype cuz these kids are so used to the sound and its natural for them without the drug's help.

well 2 months ago I also got used to have a couple of drinks in parties.. it just shorten those 2-3 hours I mentioned needed to get into that state of consciousness shahar mentioned.
but happily I got back to my old self. it's just better and much more enjoyable when everything is natural formula. :) :)

maybe? but i dont think that the new genertion trance guys will free the trance from the drug
stereotype, cause there are many young trancers some of them shimons but not only that go to trance parties in order to search for their next
dleka which sucks.
anyway i think that trance will always be connected to drugs and ca'nt see nothing wrong about it ( if u dont exagerate...) |

Tzahi, what u described in the 1st post is exactly what i feel...
I have never inhaled anything beside air and akko's sewer fumes ( more dangerous than L.S.D? some say...) anyway... it's amazing... my friends don't get it neither... but it's really cool.
This music just connects directly to my body without any chemicals/plants or anything else...
It's really fun.
Hope to be "naturaly-tripping" with you guys soon...

guys in my opinion its imposseble theoreticaly only coze u know that 99% of ppl cant dance for 10 hourse,just cant.like play bassket,phisicaly border.i prefer hear muzik after little puff but then u gone to 16 h party and u want to dance ,,, here the problem...
if we will sit in room whith good sound and look of some great set,it may be wow,but dont forget TRANCE-DANCE MUZIK.thats anough. |

Trance music wouldn't b born if there were no LSD and it's family so all the wishes might b very high spirited, but well, look more as a dream to me..
There is nothing bad in a little trippin' it's just too many ppl get the wrong perspective and carry away too hard.. heh
But grannie has stopped with that long time ago ;-) |
