I think this place is full of great artists and producers, Technicians and people that are interested in music creation.
What Trevon did to invite us all on a nostalgic trip haha
I remember those days. So many thoughts and confusion.

Today there is more confusion about odd timesignatures and learning to play real instruments better.

For those that can afford a good studio room and treat it. they are far ahead of all others.
Asking people here how to do this and that wont help you become a good producer, haha i see the scenario, You working with someone and they want a special sound, "Ohh wait i must log in to isratrance and ask them"

Psytrance is psytrance, just like Reggae is reggae,
What we all can do is take it to the edge, which is the speciality of psytrance. I mean real psytrance is about massive mind bending sounds that the aliens that landed here love.

Next level is always to improve and improve in all areas that you possibly can. Some of these areas takes more time than others. And Then we have creativity, which is related to flow, and flow is achieved inside your frame of knowledge. So the more knowledge and insight you have the more room for cool stuff to happen when you have a spark of creativity.

If you want to be famous go on and be it, its not that hard. But you do need some charm, charisma, and aexhibitionist side, not necessary showing your self nude but generally wanting to show your self to a crowd and have the abillity to entertain
Have a good conecpt and be in time with trends or create them

That´s true!!! I think facebook and the others really change (for better or for worse?) the way the internet comunities comunicate. In the parties sections of Goabase there have been a big recession in meeting points, party reports, etc...

about isratrance forum don´t being very friendly... I don´t know in the past but since I joined it one year ago I´ve seen lot of rudeness and much more of insane cinism (you can make fun in the life but please, always respect the other living beings)

honestly, the internet is a very rude place in general. i come to any forum with no expectations of being treated like I'm special. I come and be myself and if hostility occurs... that is nothing new. Too many expect internet people to treat them well...

It's not what it used to be.

Blue names ... its quite a standard response for someone getting into the forum (this or other where maybe you see an artist name you recognise and like their music).

Its pretty harmless, let it be. In time we all come to realise that the ability to do does not confer the ability to show.

On the other hand, I think that the general level of english grammar is well up from where it was - this is great as questions and answers seem generally better understood then at any point in the past to my recollection.           .

Dude there are good artists that are on this forum all the time. It is awesome. Just cuz the name is unfamiliar doesn't mean they're not good. Just listen to their tunes and decide if they are good or not.

Besides, some of my favorite artists are not well known and they make killer tunes (imo). Conversely, i think some of the best known artists make shitty music           --

My opinion is that we have (i say "we" cause i feel this forum belong to all of us) a great forum that you can learn a lot of things, if i speak about my self i have learned so many things about music production generally and day by day i discover something new...
About the question now i think already we have very good producers that they give us their knowledge even they are "well known artists(?)" or just simple guys that do this with passion and have spend many ours/days with all these techniques about music production.           ...into the wild....
