"GEMINI are all summoned forth by BIOKINETIX to utilize their newest techniques to create the most effective strategies to boggle the minds and warp the bodies (in full power epic dance moves) in order to trap the aliens in wicked designed traps that look just like dancefloors. Once entranced by these high tech sonic mind control devices you will be able to easily identify the members of the human race and who is actually an alien in disguise."

praise the french. aliens are in serious trouble now!

can't help but love this stuff.

I am speechless.... The Void journal is not only a wonderful piece of holistic art, but also a condensed Master Thesis - MBA Psychedelic Studies from Alien "online" Academy. Its encouraging and refreshing for me to see that some artists still engrain psychedelic intent and underlying mystical concepts into their music in such a wonderful way. Your intuition is strong!

In that sense, I am all for more attractive explanations of concepts underlying the musical process, as long as they are honest, heartfelt and meaningful and not mindless copy and paste blah blah.....

Pure genious! I'm impressed!
Indeed it is very special to deeply know the concept behind an artistic work, it inspires and takes it to another level.
Of course for this you truly have to start from the concept and not try to create a concept about the artistic work when it is already done (which is what I think that happens with most releases)

P.S: Waiting to meet you guys in July here in Portugal

Hi all, thanks for contributing. Nice to read your inspiring reactions. Special thanks @Basilisk for revealing the proces and showing how you aproach this.
Reason for posting such a post was on one hand to discover whether other people had the same thoughts as me.

From start on I wanted to take this discussion to a higher level. I wanted to take this input as a stepping stone to discover the relation between intrinsic motivation and the X factor that makes some music exceptional. That's the other hand. Due to writing my graduation I don't have time to invest in doing such discussion, but there will be one in the future

Thanks so far and Have a good one!

PF: If you would like to discover something pretty interesting, watch this video by Simon Sinek (18 minutes). It's about marketing, communicating ideas and inspire other people. Although the interesting part starts revealing itself when you relate Sinek's message to your personal life .... or to what motivates people to make or mix incredible music consistently.

Would like to hear your thoughts about this (yes i'll check this topic when I discover a little piece of free time)

People actually read those? Id rather labels spend time promoting people listening to the music rather than worrying about some text they wrote about it. Either way though, interesting descriptions are still interesting and credit is due to those who can write them well.           http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound

I am working very hard on a decent description of my upcoming ambient album, because I really want the listener to get a hint what it is.

Hopefully you all will like it when I am done! The trick is to put it all into a few clean words, not too many...           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

Bravo, I stopped reading those stupid things online years ago.
If I ever made an album it would say the truth:
"this is weird sounding music made with alot of stolen software. It isn't going to make you more intelligent or get you closer to a god. It has absolutely nothing to do with aliens, the devil or anything from Buddhism and Hinduism.
Since I know most of you reading this are probably going to steal it too, I hope you enjoy it none the less. If you actually bought this cd then I really want to thank you."

hehe how about this???

Cinder was born in 1544 A.D. to a psychedelic walrus named Pearl on the eve of the non-apocalypse. This hideously deformed eleven foot tall beast spent centuries roaming the darkest corners of the multiverse gorging himself on lost souls and broken brain matter. While traveling our universe one day in a portal made entirely of turtles, or a “turtle portal” if you will, Cinder stumbled upon the city of Atlanta, his new feeding grounds. In the year twenty-hundred and six Cinder hooked up with the Atlanta Psytrance family and started promoting the Atlanta gatherings, and then one year later joined up with the Asheville, North Carolina based Those People Productions.

On Halloween of 2007 cinder was reborn and is now cinderVOMIT due to a life changing near life ending event. Now theVOMIT is the co-founder of USA Label Anomalistic Records, and has many releases out and on the way!!

These days you can find cinderVOMIT rocking doofs across the galaxy and at home in Atlanta. Oh yeah, and one more thing, he brushes his teeth with a blow torch.            WARNING: The Reality Master General has determined that Mr. Vomit may significantly alter your reality. Usage of the knowledge provided by Mr. Vomit may be perceived as dangerous and subversive by those in authority.
