Well I can tell you from my personal experience, that when I trip i.e use LSD, I don't enjoy looking at bloody beasts, or Satanic symbolism. Ofcourse, I am aware of the fact that there are those who might like it ( can't understand how tho ) but from my experience and ppl I have met, I still personally know no one that enjoys tripping and looking at horrors.
Now, since tripping as an act can be described as "psychedelic" as it can be, I guess that those images must be un-psy. But again maybe my logic sucks.

When I take LSD i'm usually at a party dancing. What the fuck are you doing staring at the CD covers for? Lower the dose or take some "how to socialize properly" classes.

Hmmm so basically you are saying that from the moment you have dropped acid and till its effect is gone you are dancing?... Nice to know.. You are probably fit to run double triatlon 
If you didn't know tho, pictures or views can enhance psychedelic experience, and sometimes ppl look at nature ( very rarely ) and once, long time ago, "psy" covers were pretty much overflowed with fractals since they were pleasurable to a tripping eye I guess. So Satanic symbolism and blood etc.. is not.
You can stop dancing now btw..

try looking at some of Florian Bertmers artwork. Or some of the Mexican Chocolate Design stuff next time you are really tripping... Or just listen to The Mars Volta's new cd "The Bedlam in Goliath"... Redefining psychedelia...
