why scandinavia produces the top artists in the trance scene

very curious why there are so many great names coming out from scandinavia.
here in japan where i live, we have a huge trance scene, but on the other hand we rarely have any top level artists. theres just a few.
so i was wondering why a region with such small population and a smaller scene can produce so many high quality artists. Can this be linked to the fact that you guys have a higher eduacation in computers and music??? it would be nice to hear some thoughts on this. cheers

To tell you the truth....
We Scandinavians have very little to do, so we make trance music  Hehe
No, not really 
I cant really put my finger on why it is like that.
But i´m with SenstatuX, how about Israel then?...

hi guys, this might be just my own personal taste.....i like progressive music and many fine artists are from this region. digital structure, spiral trax, iboga....
about all the other countries, its true that there are many artists from israel,germany...etc. maybe its just better to ask why there are no artists coming out from my country.....what do uthink guys |

for sure we have high but dont better eduacation and computers.
alot of spare time and music projects around school.
sweden anyway is one of the world leading countries in music export
and have been that for a long time.
so i think we have a big bag of influences and inspiration sources?!

Scandinavia is like a bowl of fruites when it comes to music! very diverse!
From denmark to finland, what a sallad! 
you have music to please almost any soul!
i think what makes good artists are the access to instruments and knowledge in an early stage! and the freedom to experiment... not to many rules
Scandinavia has lots of good artists, but so has the whole world so i dont think you can get a explanation!

I also think it has something to do with the timeline .... ( wow big statement) in the early days , there werent many artists in Dk ( as i can recall), they were coming from other countries maybe Israel ,Uk , france ??? and later on the sound spread and hit some more countries .. some later than others, but as artists in these countries get the chance to experiment for themselves , it was just a matter of time before they would produce some killer tracks ... and this is the thing that is happening i think ... a kind of evolution.
