GOA is the source of Psytrance...
GOA is ORGANIC (not only in course of the hardware and midi process)  ...
Psytrance often is good quality, but metallic, sharp and calculated...
Psytrance GOA might be what comes close to an evolation and a reflection of an kind of spirit...

this track is the kind of tracks that made me stop going in party in the 90's.
this music is exactly what we have today, nothing original, copying of other sounds. no psychedelic inside. but good aerobic. |

Goa Trance came about right at the beginning of the rapid and massive improvement of easily-accessible, high-quality computer-based music production tools that started with the first audio sequencers in the early-mid 90s. It sounds the way it does partly because of the relative inexperience of many of the people making it at the time, and partly because the technology to produce electronic music of the quality we have today just wasn't in existence. Please take my word for it, if Goa Trance were to have had its beginnings today, the current audio quality of today's psytrance would be the starting-point of the genre. Back then we all wanted our music to sound as good as it could do, but most of us didn't have the technology or the experience. Back then, we wanted our music to sound the way we can make it sound right now. So please don't mistake an accident of circumstance for a deliberate intention.

donno its like this whole thing is really annoying me. i donno what more the vid itself or the response from people. all this "its time for a change, its time to be original, be creative" screw that there are tons of us doing just that for years and now some guy posts some self promoting vid about it and everyone is all having a haaaaaaaard long look in the mirror lol.
so now the same ones who brought this decadent stagnation are going to also be the saviors huh. so its like orgies in rome AND jesus all in one huh. much love

If you hang out on youtube and forums a lot, you get the wrong idea.
Goa is nothing like this for example. Commercial festivals, are.
Choose wisely where you will go and you will be rewarded according to your taste.

What is the problem with the video?The video is good,and as expected people are getting bunkers defending their shit.
Also,why offend offend other artists without listening to their stuff ?Yes,maybe Loud have their cheesy music,but they also have tons of excellent materials.They do the cheese to get paid,and they do their normal stuff for integrity.
Lets leave the games for people who getting offended while being zero creative,we are here to do work and punch ticket

The problem is the title.
This is not psy-trance music, its LOUD's music and also progressive music that tops the Beatport's charts.
I can count most of these reasons with just two LOUD tracks alone...yet LOUD did not say "10 reasons why LOUD's music has become shit"...they just attempt to take a stab at psy-trance, as if psy-trance tunes include these reasons.
I mean if you are going to take a piss at your self, do it properly and leave others that don't make that shit, out of this false premise.
Its like they want the people to change and stop using these formulas...in the meantime they do the exact same thing them selves, yet point fingers at others.
Its arrogant, pretentious and just a plain bad joke...and now the joke's on them.
Know what I mean?
