low pass the lead at about 300-400hz so kick and bass dont struggle with the lead for space in the mix
i guess thats it you are asking , didn't get it lol

I wouldn't HIGH pass it so high.
I need to hear it to give a real suggestion, but I generally high pass leads no higher than 200. But I eq them so they have a flatter curve and can sit on the overlapping bass frequencys less offensively. |

1080p just right men, we are in the same channel. you gave me and idea about how to do it 300-400hz.. need no struggle because if the mix are bad the space for each instrument will be replace and be above for another one, meant really bad.each space each intrument. right.
soul food. thanks, too i will use high pass and and get no higher freqs above 200 hz it means that if a ima playing in c3. in the spectrum , it means 120hz some like that. i dont remember.y have to use itto boost or even dont takein count...!! just no high 200hz for leads and any suggestion could be welcomed... thanks!

A lead at 110 is pretty much just another bassline

You took the words out of my mouth.
110 Hz is A1 on Ableton (A2 elsewhere, I am guessing). Hardly a lead. And even a bass at 49 Hz - that's more like a kick's sub-bass tail.
Sounds like a rumbling track to me. Good for resonating in your stomach, I guess... |

It really depends on where your lead is sitting in the mix. You just don't want too much going on underneath the fundamental frequency.
There are very loose rules to this really, but in time you will start to have a more fine tuned ear to hear what you can get away with and what you can't.
I CAN tell you when I first started out doing this I wasted 2 years on over EQing everything because I was scared of too many frequency's clashing. This is both a waste of time and effort. What you really want to be doing is making sounds that fit. Once you get there you'll often find you don't need EQ at all.
Don't let EQing become a habit, but instead let it be the result of an observation. |

A bass is not just the 49 hz.. It usually has freqs up to 500 or even more.
Leads are usually from 100 upwards. But that is just theory of course
