plus ... the majority of americans dont realy want to think and go into psychadelics. it might make you think. make you realize things . and thats uncomfortable for most americans and the government . no?    if u dig deep enough u just might reach the sky...

Mubali i have also seen people of chinese and african decent in many events including my events but the analogy seems to be something like 1 out of 200 or something.I never said that noone from this decents doesnt listen to psy trance or that these people dont exist in psy trance community but i am saying the obvious and that is that these people for various reasons are not connected with psy trance culture.
You want an example?
Go anywhere in the world in an RNB/Hip Hop/Rap Party and tell me the analogy of black people with white people in those parties and then go anywhere in the world and tell me the analogy of black people and white people in a psy event.
Is it so difficult to understand that some people from different origins and cultures prefer other music styles than psy trance?
I feel like i am trying to prove that i am not an elephant here.
By the way Mubali not only i dont have a clue of what type of music you produce but i never knew how you look like,i never said that i know all artists on the planet.The fact that i dont know you doesnt mean that i dont respect you.
And actually i am happy that your own words concerning the Civil Rights Movement confirm my claims about different cultures and ideals and that some people grow up with different ideas and beliefs and traditions that form their character and preferences thats why i mentioned already that chinese people and black people for example prefer other kinds of music more "traditional" to their own culture rather than electronic music which is very distant to them in many ways.
ADIGROOVY if religion has nothing to do with psy trance then feel free to go to Saudi Arabia and host a party there and see what will happen.Or try to explain your opinions to the people in Croatia who last summer had their festival cancelled because the local church pressured the authorities to cancel this event because psy trance music is the music of the devil as they claimed.
Everything can affect psytrance including religions,politics,economic issues and more.

My world is not shaken because of your words mr Detox, i have lived too much experiences related to the religion like a civil war in ex yougoslavia, so don't worry that your statements shake me.
if you read my post carefully you will see that i just point you on the statement that muslims have nothing related to the psytrance. Now you same came up with the example of Croatia, btw it was in Bosnia close to Croatia border and indeed it was because of the local catholic church which in samll communities like that has a lot of power.
i tried to explain you that aswell islamic, catholic or orthodox is not related to psytrance. As you have used this as argument that the psytrannce is not big in US which is not relative at all in this case as you can see.

Ok some very basic logical reasoning, many(not all) humans are influence by religion wether you celebrate eastern, carnival, xmas or any holiday of that sort just as example, and Human influence psy culture do you see the basic trickle down logic! How can you say than religion doesnt affect, relate or influence psy culture. Offcourse it does man. Dont get me wrong it would be amazing if religion didnt influence the psy culture unfortunately that is not the real world! Religion is a cancer! |

i agree that "religions,politics,economic issues and more." as pointed out by mr detox do affect psy trance but lets all just stick to the topic here which is the reason why psy trance is not big in the US and come back to what detox has pointed out that MINORITIES are ONE of the reasons why it is not big...and there lies my confusion!
ps: in my opinion i actually think psy trance is quite big in the US. I havent been to europe so maybe im not sure how big it is there. Id rather it NOT be big and underground but with every 2nd person becoming an organizer and throwing parties...i dont see that happening.

You are missing the point, I was not saying nothing about that, it's just I remarked to the statement that psytrance is not that big in US due to islamic's, etc... Zman i know what you mean and i even think that still in rap/rnb/hip hop events the white people sometimes are more than the black people but its obvious that the analogy is not 1 black over 100 or 200 people (depending the country) like in psy trance events but more like an 1 white over 1 black person at least for USA.Even in Greece the analogy for rnb events is one black person for 3 white persons which is very high comparing to the 1 black person every 250-300 white persons for the psy trance parties.
This shows a lot of things but some people cant or dont want to understand that black people (among many other decents and races) prefer other styles of music than electronic music.
And since Mubali mentioned the Civil Rights Movement could it be that black people prefer rap over psy trance because through rap lyrics they can protest/demonstrate for their mistreatment (that unfortunately exists still in our days although noone admits it openly) and express their self and feelings something that is not possible to do through psy trance music because of the absense of lyrics?
I mean think about it rap is a good way to EXPRESS your feelings while psy trance is a good way to CREATE new feelings so maybe since black people at this stage of mankind still need to express themselves they prefer music with lyrics than electronic music?
Good food for thought if you ask me.

It was an answer to the post or comments from detox that islam is one of the reasons that psytrance is not that big in US.

I have never been to the place called the Bible belt but just from seing documentaries I would assume that religion for sure has a very strong influence on why psy is totally non existence in this part of the country!

I think what most of us have agreed on here that religion does play a role in influencing psy trance
but minorities is not a reason why psy trance is not big in the USA.

sorry guys but many of you, are waiting in the corner to expres your fake "civilization"..
ofcourse the relegion its a big reason that the muslims dont or they cant understand psy music...what else could be the reason?
they cant even drink a beer on ramazani days and if someone do it the reactink like hi is made big crime...
for the blacks i really dont understand why psy music its not so popular. the reasons thta detox say sound verry logic...but i say it again i dont have personnal opinion about this...
last think, for the topic about the states,all this situation with the fear for everything that exist at the states, keep the scene still, more underground then europe,wich is a think that for me its way better then to make psy music mainstream
