Hi!
i use FL studio 9. i just made something spontaneous. for fun i used L2 maximizer with the setting -0,2 db ceiling and enough threshold on master channel. In Fl its peaking at 0 db on the master channel. but why is it still so low in volume?
other tracks are much louder, but how is that possible when its alrdy peaking at 0db?

if its too gentle for you, its because you have high dinamics (this is from the lowest valley to the highest peak).
you have 2 possibilities: either you cut your high peaks, or you boost your valley areas.
its possible with compressors (multiband), limiters & right usage of an eq...
