There customers only use cd dexs or a laptop for abelton live or final scratch .
i hate the way some labels are tryin to force u to buy cd ,,,soley because there so ingornant to customer requests that perfer vynil call me old fashioned or whatever

Considerin that most labels barely even cut it even.. U can forgive their choice to go with Cd's.

the technological revolution will come soon where audio-cd's will be outfashioned. as wee notice nowadays with vynil's vs. cd's, in maybe 5-20(??) years there could be a similar transition in the evolution of the turntable. heard some rumours bout better and smaller disc formats to store and play music, practically undestroyable and, most important, resistant to scratches.
back to topic:
i have noticed that dj's of different other electronic music, such as house or techno, make more use of vinyls rather than cd's. i guess since especially house music is very popular and commercially well-established, it must be easyer to find your fav tune as a 12 inch. if your a dj of these styles, it's not adequate to use a cdj.
i guess most existing psy labels are more surviing rather than creating profit. it's a logical consequence to sell tracks on cd format, as most consumers don't have a turntable to play vinyl.

Vinyl does not suck. There is a whole history behind this media and the whole concept that comes along with it.
A 12' vinyl is like a piece of art that will or will not become a classic in the future. That is why people save them and cherish them like something painted by Van Gogh. Vinyl is not pressed in huge quantities. So, there you go, that is why vinyl doesn't suck.
And even though i say that, i still like my psytrance on a CD, the way it is, the way it supposed to be.
time traveller:
if you ever become a DJ that is booked every week in some club or a party, i'd like to see how swift you're going to travel with a crate of vinlys. You might as well buy a van.
no hard feelings. vinyl and psy don't get along.
