why i have delay when i put mic in line in??

emmm when i want to record myself in cubase vsti ....i put the mic in the line in open new chenel and record...all work good,,,but its on delay allways!!!!!!!!!!!!! baaaaa

You have latency, provide some more details: which sound card u r using, what cubase version,
most of the pro audiocards has latency settings in their control panel which you can change to reduce the delay time,
Keep recording man.  Space is the place

ok thanks.... i have creative usb sound card...( 24 BIT /96 khz-100 db )
and its cubase vsti 5.1

don't expect your creative usb to work with no latency, find the specification for your sound card and check the latency section, also you should know that you can work with the "ASIO multimedia" Device or if possible you need to choose your sound card directly and not through the asio driver- if your card will work on the "ASIO multimedia" driver you'll have more latency- however i think(i'm not sure) that the creative sound cards can only work with the asio driver and not directly to the sound card but you better check this out.
