For this simple reason:
Original sample:Where you going drums don`t stop
Spanish:Donde vamos los tambores no paran.
Well, but we have a song with catalan samples:El fill del comandant by Neuromotor&Domi Pastor

me being english then yeah ill use english samples because i understand the language but if i was from anothert country i would most probably use spoken samples that spoke my own language.
Also i think if the sample has a good sound/tone then use it regardless of which language it is in.
So then do you think the reason english text is used is a stunt to maybe make some money? If an album had hebrew text but sounded good id still buy the album regardless of it being in a different language. Just a thought not a point of arrgument there.

Are we dealing with samples or titles ??
Anyways, the answer works for both things. It's true that a whole majority of titles and samples are in english.. but HOPEFULLY not all of them !
And my favourite situation is when (for me french guy) a "foreign" musician uses some french in one of his track. It reveals many things on the musician I believe.. Because one doesn't do it gratuitously, it means something, or shows the musician personality a bit more !
I like this.

There is also a message in every music, at least we hope so, and if u want that the message passes with the music u have words, those words should be understood by every person that hears it.
It is true that english is taking the most important place in this tearms, but this is a sign of evolution... It should be more like 1 person knows all the languages, than everybody knowing 1language, no?

Man a lot of things that was saied here is true...
the samples normally are taken from movies...and most of the famous movies are american...
also because...if the artist wants to pass a messege on..it will be easier to everybody to understand english rather then portugues, russian, german
But its changing.... Nowdays we can see samples and titles from alll the languages... |

I think spanish samples sound the best! I dont even speak any spanish but i have been listening to psycomex and the mexican trance mafia and it sounds awesome. You dont need to understand the samples to enjoy them really, as long as its a kewl sounding language... |

Russian, French and African samples all sound good (to my american ears ) It adds a little mystery!
Juno Reactor have been good about using different languages...
  tiger got to hunt,
bird got to fly,
man got to sit and wonder why, why, why?
tiger got to sleep,
bird got to land,
man got to tell himself he understand. |
