All these answers are so typically Greek...

Open your eyes people, travel a bit and see what's going on in the world.

You think that the bullying/aggressive stereotype is good?

Answers like 'I prefer aggressive than voutirobebessive' etc do not honour you, and please, I am not getting personal here about anyone. I just used this post as an example. I speak in general. So don't start replying back to my post with the once again typical Greek answers...

Everything is a state of mind, which unfortunately, with Greeks this is not the case at the moment.

Most of the Greek people in the Psy scene are like that because of many factors that have been discussed in the past so much...

For those who remember the times when there was Alsos club in Athens and Acid club in Salonica back in '94 they can understand what I'm saying.

Those were the days...

So think about it a bit. It wasn't always like that. It turned like that through time.

And more or less we all know why...

Man I didnt say that back then was perfect either but it definitely was much better than the current situation. In any case we are talking about Greeks' aggression in this scene in general and don't tell me that things are perfect now.

Back then I didn't see any kid that wants to be cool with high adrenaline levels and full on drugs taking the piss all the time like now.

Get a grip mate and don't jump into conclusions. You don't have top be so aggressive....

I think that one can notice the difference also in dancefloors. Also back then you didn't get psychedelic every night but nowadays sometimes I feel really sad after a party. On the other hand the passing of time blurs memory and makes nostalgic. I think the point is next time when we all go to a party to find a way and get real psychedelic if you know what I mean.

i think the answer to this goes way beyond travelling (although lux is right it does help) or drug use.. our kind has been fighting since the dawn of time, we are a nation that has been involved in atleast one war per century, since forever..and ofcourse our generation has not fought any wars yet, but it's there in our genes, in our genetical memory..agression is in us. this ofcourse is bad for many reason which have been already stated in this topic, but on the other hand it's neccessary in order to deal with everyday shit, and not just take everything as it comes from whoever it comes with a smile, like little robots,(i once saw sth. written on a wall yrs ago which freaked me out : "hsoun kalo robotaki simera.kalinixta" )....
andonis i believe that all of us look for the feeling we had at our first party, but it's not possible mate. never will it be more psychedelic than your first xperience, never will the music sound the same, never will drugs feel the same cause like you said it's blurred, time fades it...it's like ONE free ride on a rollercoaster, if you get on it a second and a third time it's fun but it's never like the first time is it? so getting more psychedelic i think is not the way to go ... and i don't think it helps agression...
so IMO i don't think there's much we can do about our agressiveness unfortunetly & fortunately...it's in our genes            (``·.¸(``·.¸(``·.¸¸.·`´)¸.·`´)¸.·`´)
..and when i say goodnight, the pictures in my head will dance inside my room and frolic in my bed ...and when i say good day they hide behind my eyes waiting for the dreams to bring them back to life...

Twikle I am sorry but this genes' thing is ridiculous to me. Sounds like Archbishop Christodoulos(I prefer papa-dj Seferlis) and olympic winner Fanni Chalkia(kiss your brains goodbuy). I used to get out a lot earlier and this is my second coming as you put it. Idon't wish things to be the same. Sometimes nowadays I personally get more psychedelic without drugs(I make my own poison). It's just that at least in Athens I sadly and regretably find the scene as a whole much poorer in comparison to 96-98. But truely the future is now so next time come and join to me to the dancefloor which I have a mission to break. Taking off, that is what I mean by psychedelic. And then the wicked ones find peace and become tame and one. Pure magic.

the street is called Synopis, the writing is on the left wall just before reaching Mihalakopoulou...

i remember it cos every time i stop at the traffic light, i turn my head to the left and there it is......all the time......           .

It doesnt matter if it sounds ridiculous to you mate, the "genes' thing" has been proven over the years by science and although it may hurt many people who believe in "we all are the same" theory , its definately true
