I really don't understand how the local dj's and I speak most about Salonica cause I live here, one day in the top of their career and the next day they disappear. Is it the music they play? Is the ppl that are tired of them so soon? Something else? Or is their behavior? My personal opinion is their behavior!!! I think they reach the top and they become f...ed up! For example yesterday I was at Toumpa in a tavern called "Taverna ths Fwfws" nice food  suddenly a known dj came and start yelling to another known dj who was sitting there. They went a few steps away and the known dj who just came was in a bad sittuation ( out of control ), hitting his hands on the cars, doing like a monkey up and down, then almost cried! Forgot to say that I felt like I was 15 years old when I saw that he brought his friends(kagoures) 5 of them all with bikes(asprh kaltsa kai tetoia) ready for a fight! Anyway I felt sorry that these persons were from the trance scene and known dj was acting like that! And the worst is tha he is organizing parties behind a known label! I really don't like going to parties were these kind of ppl are in it and organizing it!
I guess local dj's ruleeeeeeeeeeeeeeez!!!!! Bravo guys!

my friends , djs are human ,so i cant understand what you mean ,it is bad to see a dj in this way ,, djs are not super human , most of them have a common life,, so why do you say ,it is bad to see him in that way,, i dont know what you think trance is , its is just music, if you combine this music with subsencies , then you mite think its super natural, but still it is a type of music ,nothing more,, so this dj wait have had a big promblem , so what must he do through cds at the other guy , when he has a fight , imarton ,,and to show you do you know how many djs have been to jail ,, or done bad things , what give them the metal of honor , because they play trance, |

yes i heard the story too, only one word comes to mind...krima.
burned out ppl are everywhere...nothing new...ofcourse dj's are public figures (and in many cases role models :-S ) so when they get burned out and strart the bullshit everyone finds out straight away, on the other hand when normal ppl get burned out and start the bullshit maybe noone ever finds out...i guess it comes with the territory, occupational hazard ...what to do ....ce la vie...in any case the difficult part is not getting to the top griniaris, it's staying there and IMO this has to do with 2 things, firstly not getting burned out by drugs, and secondly it's a matter of character...dld an eisai malakas oti kai na kaneis eisai malakas - telos. an eisai kai kamenos malakas - ta legame se vgazei o kosmos me ti mia. (translation: once an arshole always an arshole, but a burned out arshole is the worst and ppl can tell straight away...) what you give is what you get etc etc ...

i think silence is better at this situation..
of cource the most of the trance djs(and not only local) r fucked up.. and i know only a few that you can count with your finger from your one hand,they r respectable and really cool guys but thats life..
you can not change the world griniari but you can choose better your friends and finally you"ll be happy being in the right company..

you can not change the people griniari.
Live them alone and the scene will put them out alone.
but I agree is no good public persons of this scene give and example like that.
You just choose your friends and live the time make the rest!

unfortinently way too many people put DJ's and artists on pedistals and expect them to be superhumans with no faults. "Hollywood stars".
It's time to stop all this DJ/artists worshipping and realize that we are only humans and not stars!
I dont care if a person is a DJ or an artist... If that person behave bad then it's wrong.. But not because he/she is a DJ/artists... because that person is an selfcentered idiot  |
