Seriously, it's getting annoying. You either like it or not. Enough with videos etc. I don't listen to music to prove anything or be a part of something. I listen to it because it makes me feel good. End of story.

basicaly you are right at all.No need to prove - if you feel good this is all what counts in life and even this is not needed to be proved to anyoneo other or to be forced to be presented.
The only reason why (I speak just for myself)it could be helpful to have an answer to the ducks movie is because I believe that the now almost famous psytrance is shit video has not really helped psytrance at all.
It could be actually 'cool' to have really a nice answer. But actually and this is not a little tiny problem at all, atleast for me.  ) nevertheless I just think psytrance deserves something better than a shit promotion that spreads like fungus. But not the real good one. However it's only my opinion.

Personally i think if this music was really good enough to be big it would be by now. I just find it funny that people say this scene is not underground anymore. They obviously have not much idea outside of this scene because most people I know outside of this scene even in EDM have not much clue what it is and yes I asked my good friend who runs a big EDM festival in Australia what he thought of the "popular" prog psy and he just laughed and said even for him it is crap and would never be played.
Then I played a few tracks from Suntrip Records & he asked for their contact/web site. Loved it. He also loved the latest stuff from Osom & Kamino saying it's in his opinion cutting edge experimental EDM.
I just find this interesting that what many in this scene consider will be made to be trendy often isn't. People outside of the scene still have taste.

Some of us have been here so long, its in our second nature and we tend to forget there's a big world outhere, we are just a pond and a little one and its true our stuff still is cutting edge, all the subgenres

Exactly, for example it's like Justin Bieber suddenly expect just because he had dubstep influences in one track he is going to gain some dubstep audience, it's just failed thinking because he is just desperate in faking and he would do anything, if you fake every second of your music, well, sky is limit in faking than….neither dubstep audience will listen to Justin Bieber or some psy prog track that have same influences, they don't dig that, even that dubstep part, it's just crap and not doing it for them ,they want whole thing like it should be, I don't think any minimal lover dig that influences in psy prog either, it's joke to him, wow you took one sound and fake the whole thing ,he would rather listen real minimal and lost himself in whole trip…that's the deal, it's nothing, it's just not pleasing anyone except circle of people that are stuck there, outside that circle, it's pointless music….people respect music as a whole deal, psytrance always was intelligent obscure music to all of them and they have respect for it, they even like the whole package, it is all new and really deep for them, something special, now when something sounds like a badly emulated cheesy EDM ride, well, it's not pleasing anybody, that other influences are pretty much outdated for any EDM guy and whole deal is pretty much failed faking of EDM and psytrance, pretty much pointless music on both sides.

started listening abaut 1997 so for me its easy to find some mind refreshing stuff. and be amazed there was this era in about 2000 something that most music sucked and people puplished allkinds of SHIT. but now i know not all psy isnt even psychedelic. but no problemo i just luv this tweaking and bubbling! remember stay out of the kitchen if .... lets dance! it really makes me feel GOOD!

Yeah for sure if I wanna listen to techno or house or prog or whatever I go to proper labels and producers in those actual scenes. Not some wannabe psy mash up that just sounds so boring!
I've been listening to music from Goa scene since 1988 and ever year I've found at least one amazing release. It's great, there is some real talent around. Just need to dig deep.

BTW I have played lots of electronic music to my son (now 13 months) and for sure he loves Goa & high BPM. He giggles, wiggles and dances like a crazy person to it! Very cute. He's not such a fan of house or techno lol.

yes offcourse have to dig deeper my daughter used to love goa when young danced like hell with me
and nothing like that with other electronics... which i listen a lot tooo... hip hop she liked and reggae ..maybe for the beat... well go fiqure
