Why do you create music?

Im sure everybody has his own reasons for making music. Some see it as a hobby, some as proffesion, some want it to become their future job.
Why do you continue to make music? Why do you buy that expensive equipment and build your studio?
Why do you do that? Simply out of love to music creation or you want to get paid eventually and live from it?

I want to be famous like skazi & infected mushroom, make killllaaargggh tunes & charge people 10'000 euro's so i can come play air guitar on stage & pretend to sing like a rockstar!!! 
Seriously though i make music simply because i enjoy doing it..

i produce music for me. when i compare my own finished projects to pro-stuff, i'd rather listen to my own stuff  Also, there's nothing better than sitting in the studio, creating that perfect pad, or that insane lead, that feeling u get of it cant be described, its just good. Also, all the compliments i get from people makes it hard not to keep on producing. Its def. more than a hobby for me, ill keep going untill i see at least one of my tracks on a released cd  |

About me.
I just love music. I love doing music and can't wait until I see people dancing to one of my tunes in a party....
Its a great hobby too...Its a great fun to finish something youve been working on and listen to it and see others like it too.
Music is a way of life huh

for now i produce music as a hobby for the feeling of listening to it and loving it, and have my friends saying that they like it... it's a unique feeling as sound surgeon said
furthermore i want to make this a profession, not for the money else i would be producing house music, but because it's a dream i have since i was young, to be a musician someday. playing live is my biggest dream... and it is getting closer... and closer... and closer...  ... i hope. |

I do it for me!!!
I like the music, the technology, and the learning process...
Its magic when i finish a music and remember when i started to produce or even before that, when i wanted to do but i didn't have the gear and the (modest) know how...
For now i'm going to keep trying because i've got an ocean of tricks to learn...(and create)!!
Just keep the sceene alive...i don't want to be late!

its funny i just dont know the exact reason!
i guess i like a lot music,so i wanna know how its"done" and give it a shot!
maybe it helped that i had music studies from my kid years.
it challenges me,it gives food for making an effort and its a damn good feeling when u create something good!
i guess thats it!

Not only music creating but audio in general is definetelly what I love working with....
At this moment I´m studing sound engineering, and I really want to make a living from it, I just love tweaking audio from live engineering, to music creation, to bands recordings and mixing, gingles for adverts, sound for games, sound for movies, whatever...anything related to audio interests me and I´ll be a happy guy if I make my living from it
My own music I always take it has a hobby, unless it shows itself otherwise someday (for my creations I like to keep it this way so I can be free with it and not pressure myself). I also experiment a lot, not only into producing psytrance.
