Personally I like having lots of little details like that, which you don't necessarily hear at first. It helps your track to reward repeated listenings if people hear something new each time, and can help to draw your attention inside the track.
Also, your perception of the prominence of a certain sound depends quite a lot on which aspects of the track you consider that sound to actually be. In your first example, I think that big fuzzy sound on top of the arpeggio is actually part of the same sound, and the whole thing is actually quite loud!
