Actualy this forum becomes quite progressive...
And i do not like all those splits of topics..
i just don`t like to click through 4 topics...
just to talk about basic technical things..
it was always a pleasure just to click on the tab and dive into all the discussions..but now its just not as clear on how to post your thread imho..
don`t kow what you think about..

I like it, but I guess I kinda suggested it in the first place. I thought an Equipment Reviews section would be nice for several reasons. You can find plenty of reviews of almost any piece of gear in a few seconds, but I thought it would be interesting to hear what people think about equipment when it comes to trance/ambient/prog production specifically. There are tons of "This Gear vs. That Gear" threads (plenty of which have been mine) sitting around, and I think threads of collective opinions on specific gear would be more helpful. I can't see why there shouldn't be a separate DJing section, since DJing and production are pretty separate things.
Isratrance is growing every day, and imo this kind of organization is necessary to keep the forum clean and to make it easier to find info.

We wanted to expand the section since we have a lot of information kept inside this particular forum. Now it will be easier for everyone to find the information they need, i hope you will contribute into making this a good change Zork, you are well informed about new products and equipment.

"production & music making" section well
i thought it was the same thing,
anyway i think it can be summed up to "music production" |

i'm confused also =)
my few thoughts:
it's true some changes needed to be done cause this huge amount of different kind of material, topics and individual issues.
the most effective task would be to go thru all topics, list all subjects in groups and subgroups and analyse the structure of resources from past years. Then make a plan to re-organize the contents, build up tutorials with people quotes of their experiences in a specified topic, reduce the amount of topics and text and as follow give the forum and material it's clear structure. what's more than vital.there by to retain "old forum" beyond a link for viewers. you got the pic?
now there are four main topics which nearly give people better picture or approach to flock down to "our" magnificent forum and it's contents.
anyway this forum is the best web can provide for music producer. thanks all the moderators and people in scene!

Its the same for me. Just means that I have to click on all 3 forms to see whats up in production. Its ok, its not like I am in a rush when I log on here.

folks,
I know that keeping everything in one place might've been easier to keep updated, but you have to understand that information is more powerful when it's organized and more focused - for all of us who use this information.
So as usual, there's cons and pros to everything.
I hope you get used to it, and maybe find yourself around better. Maybe open all 4 sections in 4 tabs in your browser, to be easily updated.
