if people that post events could edit their first post to apply updates to an event as they come, this would be extremely convenient... thoughts? comments?

Yeah, but it's a blanket code where you can't edit any post after 10 (I think) minutes. I assume they'd have to give editing access to everyone all the time.
Either way, it would be really nice to be able to do, that's why I wait to post events on here until I have most of the info. Anyone who's gonna go to an event just from a posting on here will probably be scrolling through it enough to find all the info anyway. http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound

yeah, this would be huge.... I would like to be able to UPDATE event threads instead of replying with what might be very important information that might be skipped over

i can't tell you exactly why, i'd rather defer to someone else with better knowledge...but you can always send your revisions to the moderator who can then implement them. to my knowledge, there has never been a problem doing this in the past. if it's an urgent matter that would need an immediate change - well, any poster is allowed to edit their posts until another post is made, i believe, within a generous time frame. and if it's something of last-second significance - well, it's more likely to be read if it is newly posted to the end of the thread, anyways. |

I kinda see where your coming from but would you not be the first one to use it to your advantage, in a bad way?
