i think it has something to do with the ancient inca, maya and other tribal rituals...dancing in high spirits is at the heart of the culture and has been present since begining of time.

perhaps because we have good taste in music?
perhaps because we have great locations?
Unfortunately as with most of the things it becomes commercial, people see this scene as a way to make money and things like that,u know what im talking about......
what is certain here is that there is a lot of misinformation about mexico, maybe that's why people get scary 
there is violence all over the world!
about the violence of the narco in mexico most of it is on the north,because we are the door to the biggest consumer of drugs!
the samething would be if the U.S. borders with Portugal, Greece,japan or any country whit psyscene.already said that this is on the north,but if u are traveling to the center or the south you will find good places, climates, landscapes and the right people to enjoy.
the people is here,u only need to find them!
