for the longest time i had this theory about psytrance that it was run by the mossad, fsb (formerly kgb) or the cia.
the reason being that at many trance parties i saw a lot of israelis wearing their IDF t-shirts, i had also heard a story from a dj that they had a party in colombia and the place was surrounded with FARC rebels with their AKs...i also felt that how come these parties and festivals are held in such remote locations i mean they are held even in disputed areas of the world...i sort of felt that the psytrance scene was big global conspiracy to get people to uniform...freaky stuff...then once i was up on the stage looking down at the crowd and all the dancers trancers looked to be doing a synchronised dance...that flipped me out and then i said it doesnt matter what diff does it make whether there were or werent spies involved in the making of the scene, as long as i have nothing to hide i dont care...its not like i was gonna join the al qaeda...but i think the feeling of paranoia made me enjoy parties more...i mean its a great feeling to see everyone with suspicion...and i would talk about this stuff to random people i met...some freaked out and those were kodak moments!
