Why do you say that MS2000 is good for that? I personally think its pretty bad for fast basslines. Your not thinking about Nordlead are you? Virus can be ok but not without effort. You really have to spend lots of time tweaking to get it to sound right imo. Thats why i sold mine. The Nordlead just sounds great.

AvS: about virus basslines (i have a virus b): the key to accurate fast (full on) basslines is to disable the feature that the oscillators are free running (simulating analog oscillators). then you get nice results, otherwise you often hear subtle (in this case annoying) sound changes. but i'm sure you're also happy with your nl now

i think it would be more difficult to find someone using a ms2000 for basslines than one who isnt (at least for full one, proggy another subject).

btw, ms2000 is cool

I know; the Phase Init feature. But still that didnt do the trick for me. Its just the sound of the virus oscs that don't like. Nord oscs are nice.
Actually I dont have a Nordlead. Will definetly my next synth. And yes I will be happy when i get one.
