i think, maybe...
A cd is 700mb or 800mb audio file..
one track of 7.30 is like 75mb
soo. 10 tracks of 7.00 700mb
10 tracks of 8.00 min 800mb
more less a CD

As far as I know, when you're making an AUDIO CD, it's only measured in time. I don't believe that it stores the audio in the same traditional way.
So in other words, 80mins of playback regardless of quality.

Umm, both theoretical cds are the same quality, he was just taking some guesses at sizes.
72 minute cds=700mb
80 minute cds=800mb
Notably, the 700mb cd can handle 72! minutes of audio. |

I just expirienced one reason (during creation) for long tracks :
I enjoy the track that I create so much, love the rythem, bass, percs, vocs, fx, just about everything, and as everything I love, I don't want them to be over...
Although - one must know when to end the art so it wont evolve to a boring one...

A good trip always lasts for 6-8 hours, I mean, a good track always lasts for 6-8 minutes
