nu tek by samy ( cpu ) is a new label with their first compilation out now with bliss mekkanika cpu painkiller sirus issness v storm madnetic(best trak). absolum+gms and menog+space tribe. i think its a decent release but would like some feedback, from people as to what they think. i would especially like to know what you guys think of the neo rave element that is seeping into these harder artists bag of tricks. |

Freakin Awsome!!! 
I think it is a great comp with many good tracks coming from very good minds, each telling their own original story. Best track 4 me: Bliss - Viking Craft. And about this "neo rave element" you speak of i believe it is constantly evolving. There are no limits for what the mind can do and think of next.
Highly recomended!

i thought the compilation was nice. the cpu track was good, and so are the bliss, menog vs space tribe tracks and mekkanika tracks. im not sure what u mean about the neo rave element - but all i can is that these bunch of artists have a similar style - like cpu, painkiller, sirius isness, and bliss. its really something. u see similar stuff on materia records releases too. another thing i noticed is that cpu's style is getting a bit melodic. really nice stuff to hear. u can hear similar stuff on his track reaktor off the last materia compilation.

Yeap its a nice compilation .. However i was expecting much more from it .. i like the therapy rmx , madnetic , painkiller ,mekkanika tracks , frankly i dont like cpu's new style ..not much power as it used to be in his previous releases.. and even sirius isness experimenting too much i think theses days .. i used to love the days of 'the other way' and 'psychedelic love stories'..but they dont make tracks like that no more

I heard this compilation....
Its not the musik what CPU used 2 make....
BUt i was also mistaken regarding his new style...
Hear the compilation "psycho acoustics" there i get 2 hear actual mussik(acid) what samy used 2 make earlier.. and I guess he still makes such musik...
the Track in "skydivers" isi'nt melodic...but jus I found the msuik little fluffy comparing to that style what CPU makes..
MUs be his style in his compilation had changed.....
But realy didnt like this style of his musik ...

yeah fluffy would be the right word not melodic.. but i dont think its to cheesy. anyways to each his own . i guess im just happy to see cpu's style change - like the wave modulation according to me represent his older style - but the stuff he is making now as well as under the 3 mosketeers i think is a lot more full onish .. keeping that in mind i wonder his synergy project (with absolum) sounds like now, cuz absolum is hard as hell hehe. they are going to be releasing an album soon on 3d vision from what iv seen on the forum.
