I think infected should work with Simon Posford maybe he will get them back on track as they seem to be lost in ego trips and singing hihihihihi Simon open the doors for them again please, i mean they were the max before! Respect...

I don't care really - Infected Mushroom are first and foremost musicians. Classically trained in some areas. To expect someone to carry on releasing straight psy is to curb their natural boundaries and instincts as musicians.
Perhaps IM felt that they had reached all they could do with what is essentially a narrow musical genre?
I think it is a good thing for them as musicians to experiment in something new.....
Off topic I know, but look at bands like U2 and Radiohead - constantly evolving and changing their style and their influence.....if you are a true fan, listen to their music and if you don't like it - go back to The Gathering and Classical and BP Empire etc etc and be happy they have given you something you do like!!! |

oops - on topic - I think they could work with the likes of Nitin Sawnhey - would make a very interesting sound I think.
Also - artists such as LTJ Bukem - making psychedlic breaks and drum and bass.....could be good.....

I have now arrived from the Infected, astrix, sub6, Son kite ect ect gig in Copenhagen, Denmark (bevar christiania).. And i must say i had a fucked up great night. infected played 0 old tracks. The new tracks where killer.. but alittle psypop!? Dont misunderstand me.. love them, and the tracks really made me dance. I just miss the "old" trippy darker side of infected. iNfEcTed for life..
