I would never pay for advice nor charge for giving advice!! That's just MY OPINION!!
This was a serious conversation till you made fun out of it.

Davinski - The pattern that you speak of - underground to commercial - is mirrored everywhere in life.
It just means that a seed is really influential and therefore everyone is influenced by it and ends up mimicking it. Its the nature of humanity to copy what works. No point in being sulky about it.
You should start your own patterns. Don't get stuck in cherishing the beginnings of bubbles. Thats like getting stuck in the past. Instead become part of creation and not just a voyeur of past creation events.

Giving advice is not the same as spending weeks or months creating tutorial videos or writing a book.
I can't see how psytrance is going commercial just by this, Parties and psy cds are also not free, and they never were. Sure there are some free events and free releases, but the same can be said about tutorial videos.

It's an admirable sentiment. But even you acknowledged the most important thing here: that this is just your opinion. Others may not share it. And there is no reason to bend out of shape and get all upset about it. Even you may yet change this opinion of yours someday. Maybe where you live you don’t have to pay college tuition or maybe you don’t have to pay for doctor’s visits. Maybe you are not in a profession where you get paid for delivering professional advice. Or maybe you’ll never need to visit a lawyer or a financial advisor. But if and when you do – remember this conversation. And laugh your butt off.

True. Just like people die too. I’ve spent all my life in or around medicine, but I still know that every patient will eventually die. And some day I will too. I could get all upset about it or I could get on with my life and make the best out of it. The same with the scene: you can get upset about its apparent commercialization – or you can write a cool track or discover some new cool music written by somebody else. And this way maybe this scene will not die as fast as we’re afraid it will.

30.000 wow..that is a great amount.Even for those times back than.
Does anyone knows what Infected has sold? ..should be even way more.Or Psykovsky? ..this would be interesting to know,since he got his fame in the last years (piracy issue is a huge minus factor so its hard to guess).
However,just wanted to say that my opinion is also that it is the right way,for a long time musician/producer to offer his knowledge for a honour,not that anybody maybe misunderstood me,since my first two posts were a bit drunken style.
I still find that people who register on sides just to promote themselves without having a connection to the contents,should first of all maybe even at first check where they are,what music genre,if they really are in the right place etc.Peace
..I agree totaly with Mike A. ... that heart needs "food" to beat on.. you get what I mean.Peace
