I'm getting sick with all the people who try to make money of us music enthusiasts.
doesn't information have to be free to the big audience???
this forum is specially used to get new info and stuff about the music we all love so much. FOR FREE!!!!
isn't it time to kick those people trying to ripping us off?

if you are referring to another post, someone offering his service, i do not completely agree with you.
the guy is having a blog with free info. you could see his offer like others are offering a service like mastering for a (small) fee.
i labeled his post as spam though given the fact that he is not at all connected to this community and most likely does not really like our music.
why i say this:
i had in the past lessons at my home-studio from a experienced psy-producer and payed a little for that, i think thats very ok. its not persee bad that people ask money for things they do with psy music-lovers.
lets not get into something like `asking money is bad`. its the context that matters.

cause for sure that was the SMARTEST thing ive done in my entire life.
i now think to register to RIMON music school to make a degree. that costs alot and im sure to learn things that arent on youtube tutorials.
btw youtube is free just have fun with it. but its not the best teacher in the world.. specially if you want to play an instrument.
i also give ALOT of free knowledge but also charge for private lessons.. and why not you gain more then you spend if you really LOVE this.

The teachers where I study are paid well and I enjoy each information I can absorb.
My previous post in this thread refered to people who register on production forums etc only with the intention to make some business.
In a forum only for such things it would be absolutely ok IMO.

Why free?
You pay for a guitar/piano teacher. So why not for a production teacher?
I think that also think that all software should be free and pirating is ok, no?
So let's get to the bottom line - you prefer to spend money on beer and cigs instead of education. Great!

wtf is going on now? This is getting a little bit ridiculous and a piece of awkward.
OF course this is a forum in the net and if it should be for such tasks than write a big commercial at the front page.
And not everyone is worth his money.Only because he is tweaking a few knobs for long time.
IF you want to learn on a higher level from people worth it than go in real life and find a good way and stop whining here around.

I payed for all my hardware synths and most of my vst's.
When i find something interesting in vst's i go and buy them. |
