Hi people..
Have you ever used the tracker Renoise?? what do you think about it??
I'm using it and I love it, but seems that nobody use it (for trance)...why???? (it's a very fast program, <10Mb, supports VST,ASIO,has an integrated sampler, sample editor,a very good sound quality...)

...If there is someone who use it here, why don't exchange some tracks, or better, why don't make a track together?!

Peace

I don't use it myself, but I know several people who do. I think it's a great prog           ________________________

i use renoise.
But I haven't finished a song yet because I have been busy.
Plus I have to finish a song I started on logic which will take me another month.
But once I am done, I will kick logic to the side and compose mostly on renoise.

renoise is not for everybody (especially not for pussies)... you won't see pretty waveforms all you will see is matrix scrolling down the screen

If Goatracker is an 8-bit tracker, Renoise doesn't sound like Goatracker 'cause it supports all VSTi, LADSPA and AU.

The project is community driven, so you can find a lot of infos, presets, tools in the site.

Watch some videos to understand what are the features and in Renoise:

A nice track all done in Renoise - keith303 - absolutely interstellar (full - renoise 2.0 beta)

I use renoise, and have done that since 2003 (version 1.27) and I love it more than anything.

I use Logic and Live aswell, but I'm way more confortable with the tracker interface. Therefor I stay with renoise           "if music was bread, the butter would be psychedelic" - binmink 2005

Ive been using Renoise for years, and I love it. Ive tried most other programs and always find that theres something about them I just wish was as easy as Renoise... Ive used other trackers before so it was a natural choice.

Its really nice in combo with Ableton, outputting Renoise tracks as loops is as easy as clicking 2 checkmarks.           .
