I threw a couple percussion loops on my soundcloud last night, just a little messing around with AD Tattoo for fun. Ill have some serious stuff up soon

If youre looking for a kick synth check Stomp2 and RhtyhmsBD, both are free, Stomp is based around the Infected Kick Tutorial, RhythmsBD is pretty similar but has 2 oscillators which is nice. I use both of those all the time. BazzISM is another Infected-method synth very similar to Stomp2, not free, but has a great volume envelope. WOK KickWOrK is anotehr good one, basically a Vermona Kick Lancet emulation, more versatile than the others which means more knobs, more work, if you just want psy kicks youre better off with the other 3 but if you want ambient or dnb or whatever sounds PLUS psy it will do it. Also not free.

Thanks alot, Rythms BD works great.
KickWork seems interesting also, might spend the bucks on that one...

Tempest looks so cool, but is it only me or does it sound very oldschool? hm, maybe cause it's analog

Tempest makes me drool. It does more than just oldschool sounds too, its comparable to the other DSI kit, classic analog plus more modern sounds, Ive always thought of their lineup as modern incarnations of classic standbys, adapting the old gear to the current technology without sacrificing anything that made them classic

I have a dream of putting together a fully analog hardware live setup with Tempest, a Mopho for bass and a Kick Lancet. The dream usually also includes a Mono/Poly, a Synthi A, a Buchla 200e full-monty, a FutureRetro Revolution, a Jupiter 8 and of course, 303 Devilfish.

I hate those kind of dreams, cuz I always wake up.           .
