Hm...when thinking about this question I noticed that there are not many ambient/chill out artists from Germany...
But fortunately we have Gabriel Le Mar (ok, he is greek origin but anyway...) And of course his collaboration with Michael Kohlbecker as Saafi Brothers...both outstanding music

Besides Timewarp (who has released two albums), another good Greek chill-out artist (from Thessaloniki) is IHOR. First release was on Floating Point I comp. (Iboga) and another track will be featured on Mountain High II (Candyflip).

What about German artist Chris Zippel??
Music may not take us to the Moon or let us live forever, but as we enter trough the doors it is opening before us, we find things far beyond our everyday experiences..

True, Boris Blenn is German or also Deep Dive Corp. There are some artists of course but I still think that there are not so many (at least if you think how big the country is: We have 80 million people. Sweden for example has 9 (?) million and AFAIK as many or even more (?) ambient producers...).
I wouldn't count Klaus Schulze or Kraftwerk. I'm just thinking of new artist around the psy and trance scene...

BTW: Kraftwerk are still the masters of all time. Saw them live in concert last year and it was amazing!!!

From Germoney:

Substanz T, Can, Tangerine Dream and Portericks (First Album, only).

Not all of them are making really Ambient/Chill Tracks, but 4 me it sounds like...           Don't Panic!?

its truth....something is missing in germany.there still a lot of innovative ppl..specially in the electroscene.
but the chill in germany is just starting to became more important.
i also dont know ppl like bluetech, shulman or kukan dub lagan in germany.
i think at the moment we dont have any highclass psychill artist here....sorry to say.
but hopefully a lot of upcoming talents!!
and of course some good djs           www.myspace.com/mindwavesrecordings
