Mano Negra (Manu Chao afterwards)
Nick Cave
Beck
Depeche Mode (lots of electronic there but still don`t consider them as electronic music)

just to name a few... but my inspiration would mostly come from Manu Chao`s music. He sings in 5-6 languages, combines so many musical styles. His music is so diverse.
