im trying to colect here the members who use vinyls..
please post here your massege only if u are useing 12" for colect,playing party etc..
and what sound of trance,house, progressive, groove etc.. or what bend u buy in your vinyls

And my style would be... hm, a mixture between progressive house and progressive trance.
With a bit of electro added to spice it up |

I still use vinyls!
For the sound I buy - I guess it's for whatever I want to buy.  Breaks, elektro, progressive, house, tribal, tech-house, techno....whatever I hear in the store and like.

I dont because Im a poor bastard that could never afford them or the equipment heheh
not me but:
Tim Healey uses a lot of vinyl... (electro and tech house) James monroe uses both vynil and cds (progressive trance and prog house)
there are a few local djs too here that use vynils, like Carbon 23 (electro house and house)
all the ones I saw are mostly playing prog trance and house and the variants (tech house, prog house, electro house)... |

I use vinyl!
If it´s pressed on vinyl i get the vinyl...otherwise the cd!
Psy, Prog and sometimes breaky stuff! |

i use them also.
mainly prog. house and electro, but i got me some nice remixes too, and some old trance vinyls from way back when labels pressed vinyls.

I used to use vinyls and I love vinyl, but the problem is that none of the really sick, evil Psy that I like is ever released on vinyl, so I had to turn to the dark side (cd's). |

any way here in israel its not so big market any more for vinyls thats cz, since mdma is off limit there is no more 12" to buy on shops, as well as crembo rec isnt gat any new stuff for very long time..
so only from out of state i can buy 12" , shity shity shity..(:

asher, I know for a fact that here in the uk their is a big market for vinlys, I don't know of any djs who play with it, but I have loads of friends who've got decks and will buy a fair amount of vinlys every month or whenever they hear something new and good at the record shop.
they normaly buy stuff like, house, tech-house, techno, breaks. I even have got some friends who buy psytrance vinlys.
making a long story short - their is a good market for electronic music vinlys here with plenty of shops to stock them, even in small little towns

I think Yaniv will take care of you. There is still a big market for vinyls in Germany, so you should have no problems to sell a lot of copies here. Progressive labels releasing on vinyl like Hadshot and Sprout do pretty well here.
With the sound of Threshold Productions, I think you can also cross over to the progressive house scene if you promote the record very well.

I also use vinyls and preffer them over cds.I buy progressive trance and progressive house vinyls,and also nowdays more and more techno stuff and a few breakbeat 12". |

I buy vinyl...Prog , house , electro , techno...just don´t buy psy because almost all the tracks i like are note avaiable in this format.
About threshold productions - with a good promotion for sure he can reach the prog house market - nice music for sure! |
