the new TICON, SON KITE music is not minimal - its progressive.

trip-: Shiva Chandra was the act that convinced me that minimal isn't necessarily a bad thing (outside a party that is, there's no arguement about minimal being good at a party IMO)... It's some of the most intelligent music ever produced.

Shiva Chandra is minimal AND progressive. There doesn't have to be a difference. PPS Project are progressive techtrance, Quirk are progressive full-on, Masada is progressive goa, Saiko Pod are progressive psy...
With all due respect, Son Kite, Lish, Haldolium, or a million other examples are much more minimal than any of those styles. That makes them minimal in my book.
