Who Is The Greek Crowd?

I read a topic in the general trance section about the importance of the crowd in trance parties. That topic lead me to create this new topic about the status of the Greek Crowd in trance parties. It will be quite interesting to discuss this topic in the Greek Forum
In the past i had several discussions with some people about the crowd in the parties. Most of the people, i spoke to, believe that nowadays the parties are full with people that dont care about music or dancing. There is a strong feeling that most of the people go to parties only for using or selling drugs. Lots of people i know dont go anymore to parties because of that situation , or even if they go sometimes they dont enjoy much the party.
Another point: Lots of people that dont go anymore to parties because most of them are packed with very young people (16-18) . What do you think about that ? Personaly i dont believe that age and appearance should restrict people from listening music. But still certain actions(violent behavior) related with drug use usually from certain young mindless people can create a negative atmosphere in a party.
SO..
Is the Greek Crowd full of people who participate a party for the drug and dont care about what they are listening? Is that the main reason that many people dont go anymore to parties?

My friend,always to parties people go for their own reason there!I'm into trance since the very begining here and i can say that the ages are always the same,it's just that people come and go from the scene.Some really like the music and they stay and some others just come to parties to be "trendy" and after a while they find something that is more "trendy" than trance.As for the violent behavior i think that it does not exist eny more to trance parties.it used to exist to Uplifting parties due to the combination of drugs and music.
In my personal oppinion i think that the Greek crowd is one of the best because of the climax of our country:)

I have to aggree with John.
Violence doesnt exist in the scene and i will rather say that people in parties are very friendly towards each other.
About the drugs thing my humble opinion is that people come to parties mainly for the music and to have a nice time,see some friendly faces,dance and have a couple of drinks.Some people enjoy this music combined with drugs,some others enjoy it combined with some alcohol and some others just enjoy the music just like i do,everybody has his own preferences.
About the ages thing i have seen people in parties from all the ages and i think that the average age is somewhere between 21-23 which is fair enough for me.
Overall the greek crowd is very welcome and joyfull and has to be one of the best in the world.
