About the visa, I am only speaking on my experience back in 2005. I came from Spain to London, went through immigration, and with just my American passport I was given a six month tourist visa. Now, many times before I had gone through Heathrow for connecting flights, but never thought to leave the airport for the day. So, if this is what your thinking about, I have no idea?
Also your passport by June?: it's just dependent on how many they have to process, but it should only take about six weeks, but of course don't delay 
Hope this helped a little, and you can always google international visa treaties, and passport completion time frames for more exact information.
p.s. BOOM 2004 was one of the greatest moments in time. I was in tears all during Atmos's closing set. Man what an experience beyond a party. But don't stop after the party. Go out into Portugal, as it is a very very special place, with food, people, and a really fantastic vibe. Portugal, for me, was filled with wonderful, helpful, kind people. Cheers! |

yes, you will get your passport in time. If you do the standard method of shipping, should only take about 8 weeks. You can rush it for $80 extra and get it in about 2 weeks.
I do not think you need a Visa for London, but you can google the U.S. Embassy over there and inquire with them, or just ask the post office when you apply for your passport.

Visas aren't typically required for EU countries, if you've got a US passport.
